The Laid-Back Approach to Home Management
No matter what anybody says, being a stay-at-home mom IS a tough job–a tough, sticky, loud, round-the-clock, sleep-leeching job with a description that could fill an entire book.
It sounds overwhelming, but it’s nothing you can’t handle if you simplify your approach to work more efficiently.

doing what matters most to your kids
Until our children become parents themselves, they will never know how much we do for them or understand our level of dedication. Being a mother means loving someone so fiercely that it scares the hell out of you. It’s also exhilarating in the most beautiful way. Your heart is open, exposed and vulnerable to both the bliss and heartbreak that comes with caring for these little ones. Everything that happens in their childhood echoes into their futures and that’s a pretty daunting notion. What if we screw up? What if we’re too harsh? Too soft? While it seems that everyone is claiming the Tarte Shape Tape concealer as their new HG, this girl had her doubts. It’s time to plan for a week of pumpkin themed tot school!
I love fall. I know everyone says it, but I swear I love it WAY more than they do. I love it so much that I sleep in a bed of brightly colored crisp leaves from my backyard. Also, I put pumpkin spice into more than just lattes. I have pumpkin spiced toothpaste, lotion, eye drops and car gasoline.
It may be selfish of me, but I see tot school as another opportunity to completely submerge myself in the feeling of fall. There’s something so nostalgic about this particular season and who isn’t a sucker for nostalgia? I also want to make memories for my children in hopes that they continue to celebrate and make a big deal out of each season and holiday. Some people may call it brainwashing… I call it love.
